‘Working’ – Another Great Show at the Concordia Theatre

I didn’t think that photographing some of the dress rehearsals at Hinckley Concordia Theatre would give me so much pleasure, but I find it surprisingly relaxing and great fun.   There is obviously the added benefit of getting to see some of the shows for free… but I do have to say it’s quite difficult taking in the storylines etc when I am concentrating on getting the shots.

‘Working’ is a musical based on the book of the same name by Studs Terkel.  It chronicles a day in the life of twenty-six average American workers, in which they describe their daily routines and discuss their hopes and aspirations.  Both Chris & Chris Clarke the producers (husband and wife with the same christian names!!) made me feel so welcome when I went along to the dress rehearsal and I am going along to the show this Friday to watch it properly, with my husband.  Just a few images from the dress rehearsal below.
