A little walk around Bosworth Park with my children, hubby and dog at the weekend and I couldn’t resist taking a few photographs of Maisie amongst the Bluebells.

Beautiful babies
I couldn’t resist asking this bride and groom to dance… even though it wasn’t time for the first dance. Beautiful. If you would like to view my wedding photography website please go to www.weddingsbyartography.co.uk

I regularly take my dog Ollie walking at Burbage Common and today I decided to take my camera along as it is such a glorious day. I’ve been meaning to take some doggie images for a while now, but wanted to wait for Spring to come along and some better weather. It’s still a bit muddy down on the Common but generally today was perfect dog walking weather. These are some of my favourite shots below. I really do love doggie expressions, and my favourite is definitely smiley dog!

I have had a few babies in the studio over the last couple of weeks, but baby George is really special because I photographed his mummy’s wedding in 2009. It was so lovely to see beautiful Bethan and meet the adorable baby George. George was as good as gold throughout his photo shoot with mummy and it was a pleasure spending time with them bothy. Just a few of my favourite shots below. To see more newborn / baby portraits please visit my website at www.portraitsbyartography.co.uk.

I have recently photographed my youngest ever bride at only 20, and possibly the most bubbly bride too. Lottie and John have been childhood sweethearts since Lottie was 14 and it was clear to see that she absolutely adores John. This wedding was planned in just a couple of months. Lottie’s mum having recently moved to Southampton was only too pleased to make lots of journeys from Southampton to Leicestershire to help with all the preparations. Lottie was so overjoyed to be marrying John and it certainly did show on the day. Tears and laughter… that’s what it’s all about – true emotion!

Just getting Lottie to actually stop giggling was a task in itself...

Lottie was very emotional when she saw her dad at the bottom of the stairs.

Girls will be girls... and young girls even more so!

I had a fantastic day photographing Louise and Paul’s wedding recently. They were married at St Peter’s Church, Dunchurch, Rugby, followed by their wedding breakfast and party antics at Staverton Park in Daventry. The weather was pretty kind to us and we managed to dodge the drizzle upon arrival at Staverton Park for the reception. Louise looked so elegant and was so relaxed during the day, but was also prepared to have a bit of fun during the photography. My best advice I can give to any bride and groom on their wedding day is to enjoy every moment. If you are having an amazing day, it will show in your images. And it really does show in Louise and Paul’s images.
Unfortunately I was unable to photograph the ceremony itself but did manage to take a sneaky picture from the back of the church…
A few of my favourite images from the day… enjoy! And thank you to Loiuse, Paul and your family and friends for making me so welcome on your special day.
