Nice Words from the Lovely Becky & Alexiss – Wedding Photography February 2010

It’s great when I hear from The Best of Hinckley when a client has posted a review – and particularly uplifting if I am having an ‘off’ day.  I photographed Becky and Alexis at Hartington Hall in Derbyshire (selection of images posted previously) and Becky has written a really great review.  I enjoyed photographing their wedding day very much.  Both Becky and Alexiss and their family and friends were so welcoming on their very special day and although they were both not very keen on having their photographs taken, I think I managed to win them round.  Their brief was to capture the day as it unfolded and not to take too many formal photographs.  This was great for me as it gives me a chance to become part of the wedding party and to just mingle in with the guests.  I did persuade Becky and Alexiss to have a few formal shots taken but mixed these with some fun photography too.   Even if you would prefer ‘reportage’ photography on your wedding day, it is still important to be photographed with your closest family and friends.   I always endeavour to take these photographs but to do it swiftly and to also add an element of fun to the shots.    Thank you Becky and Alexiss for the kind words…
