I will be moving out of my current studio on Station Road, Hinckley at the end of this month, and will be working from home for a short while until my new studio space is ready. I have taken a space at the Goddard Building on Lower Bond Street, Hinckley and hope (fingers crossed) to be moved in by the end of June / early July. This building is known by the locals in Hinckley as the former Atkins factory. It’s a beautiful grade 2 listed building and is currently undergoing a massive refurbishment to bring it back to it’s former glory. I am delighted to be part of the Creative Hinckley hub and I am very much looking forward to working alongside other creative talents from the Hinckley area. The building will also have its own exhibition and gallery space, alongside performance and rehearsal areas, and a cafe / bar area. The new Hinckley College is also currently being built at the back of the main building.
It really is a fantastic building with tall windows providing natural light which is a an added bonus for my photography, as it will enable me to use the natural daylight for some shots, alongside the studio lighting.
If you do wish to have a studio photo shoot in May / June, I do have access to space, so please call if you would like to book.
Watch this space for some photographs of the space…
