I have been doing some commercial photography for Hinckley Town Centre Partnership as they work towards the Business Improvement District (BID). The BID in Hinckley is a new way of managing the town centre and the funding is being spent on marketing, promotions, events etc to help promote the town. I am not from this area but have lived in Hinckley since 1995. Personally I think it’s a fantastic little town and having trotted up and down the town centre just recently to take photographs of some of the independent retailers on behalf of the Town Centre Partnership, I have also realised that there are some wonderful, friendly, welcoming shop owners who take great pride in their independent outlets in the town centre.
