Last Saturday we spent a few hours with Lesley and her family photographing her 40th Birthday party in her gigantic back garden. It had rained during the morning so we had to keep our fingers crossed for better weather later in the day. Thankfully, the sun shined from late afternoon onwards.
To say that Lesley is a bit bonkers is an under statement, but she has a real sunny nature and it was obvious at her party that she is a popular girl and very much loved by her family and friends. When we first arrived at about 5pm there were around 40 guests. By the time we left at about 9pm there were probably 100 plus family and friends in the garden. It was a shame to leave just as the party really was warming up. We have since been told it went on until 5am in the morning!
We had a fantastic time and were made to feel very welcome by everybody. We even managed to grab a burger from the barbecue before we left - yummy!
